The Very Rev. Tracey Lind is the Dean of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio. She is also a city planner, author and photographer.   Her ministry includes work for environmental justice, interfaith relations, sustainable urban planning, arts and culture, and the diversity of the Episcopal Church.

Lind came to Trinity in 2000 and led the development of Trinity Commons, an award-winning, environmentally sustainable campus.  During her tenure, Trinity has experienced tremendous growth and development as a diocesan cathedral, a vibrant and inclusive community of faith, and a leading institution in the heart of the city.

Tracey Lind began her ordained ministry as associate Rector of Christ Church in Ridgewood, New Jersey. For over a decade, she was Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Paterson, New Jersey where she led the effort to revitalize a large multi-cultural urban congregation and establish the St. Paul’s Community Development Corporation.

She earned her Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York and her Master of Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati.   Tracey lives on the shores of Lake Erie with her partner Emily Ingalls.  She is a popular preacher, speaker and teacher.  She is an exhibiting photographer, a founding member of a bluegrass band, and the author of Interrupted by God: Glimpses from the Edge (Pilgrim Press, 2004).
